Since its release in November 2015, Adele’s latest album 25 has broken more records than we can recall. However, almost a year later, the album has reached another incredible milestone.

25 has been certified Diamond in the US, meaning that Adele has shifted over 10 MILLION copies! According to the RIAA, 25 reached Diamond status last Tuesday (September 20). The singer received the 10X Platinum plaque on the final night of her six-show stint at Madison Square Garden.

Adele’s previous album 21 also reached Diamond status, however, it took two years to achieve this feat. Her debut album 19 is of triple platinum status in the US.

It’s no wonder that 25 has sold so many copies in such a short space of time. Lead single ‘Hello’ is 7x platinum in the States, and follow up tracks ‘When We Were Young’ and ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover) are both of platinum status.

The singer is currently on tour in the States. She will be heading to Canada in October before returning to the US for more shows. The mammoth 107 show tour kicked off in Belfast on February 29.

Congratulations to Adele for reaching Diamond certification again. You truly are a musical force to be reckoned with.
