Michelle Williams and Jason Segel have been photographed several times over the past week. They were spotted out with Matilda, they spent some adult-time together in Brooklyn, and Jason was even spotted spending quality time with Matilda solo, making it seem like he was stepping into a “step-father” role with ease. Somewhat hilariously (to me), when I covered those photos, several commenters got into a debate about leaving a child with a boyfriend of six months. While I believe the rumors that Jason was “the babysitter” in Brooklyn when Michelle flew to San Diego for a few days, I’m guessing that Matilda also had a nanny. I’m also guessing that Michelle and Jason are heading towards marriage and all of that, and she isn’t worried about leaving her daughter in Jason’s hands, you know? Anyway, Us Weekly had an interesting little story:
Can’t take my eyes off you! On July 14, Michelle Williams and beau Jason Segel treated her 6-year-old daughter to the Broadway musical Jersey Boys. At curtain call, Jason even hoisted Matilda in the air to applaud, an onlooker tells Us Weekly. “It was very cute!”
Though the Brooklyn-based Williams and Segel still have separate residences, a pal says they spend nearly every night together: “They’ve started to become a family unit.”

Jason lives in LA, correct? And Michelle lives in Brooklyn, although I think she might have a home in LA too. We see them most in Brooklyn – my guess is that Matila has a routine, and Michelle doesn’t want to interrupt it to fly off to LA to see Jason every weekend, so Jason comes to Brooklyn. Which is fine – I think Jason and Michelle are in a good place for a relationship that is about five months old. I think they got super-serious really fast, but they seem to be enjoying this part of their “serious” relationship now. And yes, I still think they’ll get married. Probably. Maybe. He’ll propose… but will she accept?
