Venus Williams wore Marc Jacobs to the 2024 Met Gala: disco ball chic?

Venus Williams turned up at the Met Gala! She’s been going to a lot of events this year, probably because she’s barely a tennis player these days (she’s had a lot of injuries in recent years). Venus went for a rather mod Marc Jacobs. She looks like a disco ball! It’s great. I also wonder about the structure underneath this dress because I don’t think Venus is actually this “hippy” – it feels like there’s either padding or something else going on. Anyway, a great look for Vee.

Dua Lipa in Marc Jacobs. Dua was on a tear last year and during this year’s awards season – she looked so good whenever she was on a red carpet. And now… not so much. I think she was trying to look really rock-and-roll and it just came off as boring and try-hard. The cut on the skirt makes me question if we’re about to see this woman’s mons.
